About the Opportunity
AVAI Mobile Solutions, LLC. is the leading provider of event and destination applications in North America and abroad. AVAI Mobile develops, sells, and supports enterprise software applications that enhance communication and experiences of users. The company is headquartered in Austin, TX. and is actively looking for talented sales and account management personnel.
Ideal candidates are self-driven individuals who can demonstrate a successful track record of having transformed outbound prospecting into revenue. These positions will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers in a list-driven territory.
Responsibilities
- Outbound prospecting to targeted accounts through phone calls
- Phone work, web-ex demos, and proposal development on a weekly basis to build pipeline and close deals
- Conduct in-depth product presentations and basic technical demonstrations through web-ex demos or on-site when necessary
- Become thoroughly conversant in AVAI’s products to solve customers’ needs
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to bridge customers’ needs with AVAI’s products
- Maintain information for prospects and customers in Salesforce.com
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with an ability to work effectively on small teams. Ability to respond to dynamic work and project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Preferred: 3-5 years’ experience in software sales in a fast-growth enterprise software environment
- Strong outbound prospecting and closing skills by use of phone, web, and in person
- Self-starter who is strongly motivated and able to see things through to completion
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to sell products through relationship-based sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
- Performance-driven, with an appreciation for metrics and related analyses that drive sales accountability
- Position will be measured and compensated based on new customer acquisitions
