As a valuable marketing and promotional tool, the mobile solution was developed to sell tickets; drive more attendees to the event; and extend the personality and value of the Show’s positive brand.
The primary element of this solution was to create a very positive real-time “arrival experience” with maps to suggest the best route from each of the city’s north, south, east and west quadrants, along with back-up routes, based on current traffic and road conditions.
It also provides GPS-enabled interactive maps for each of the nearby parking lots, complete with the ability for users to mark their parking spot, and includes updated information on parking lot capacities, prices, and step by step directions to each lot.
The solution was designed as a tool to highlight the Show’s entertainment lineup in Reliant Stadium, concentrating on artist bios, photos, music and videos along with a link for fans to buy tickets.
AVAI provided this client with an iPhone application, Android application, and mobile web site. All content is managed through the AMP Content Management System. This application is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for review.
